I cannot advice you more than what is in the documentation. Have you read guide to scripting? If that does not help, post what you are doing, so we can try to find a problem.

I've been trying/searching for weeks,
trying to write a script to get/put files from iPhone.
and I'm not getting any further since then...

I tried to do some experiment before I do the scripting
had read https://winscp.net/eng/docs/scripting#using_scripting, and some other articles somewhere else.
tried get, lcd, etc but the "command not found" is all I see from the console prompt.

can someone give me some tips or direct me to some tutorial?

I'd like to know how to upload, download, set permission and search a specific folder/file
