Thanks for the help. I'm using file storage instead of registry, but I've found the key you referred to and it is already set to the value of 2. However, I recon I should put the same value to "Configuration\Interface\Editor\0" (notice the zero at the end) as that appear to be the external editor I'm using.

I looked through your site but couldn't find what EarlyClose parameter does exactly (if it's set 0, 1, 2, ...)

Exeternal editor

When a file is changed in an external editor, if the editor is closed too quick no changes are saved. How to set that time period?
