Thanks for the tip.

There's no such option. But if you use XML logging, it should be quite easy to disntinguish errors.

Thanks a lot for the tip.

On a different but similar topic, is there a way to only log errors or make the error log less verbose? I'm not specifying any options on verbosity, and I listen to the exit code to determine if there's an error, but then it may take a long time to go through the log to find out what went wrong.

Thanks.

Re: Possible to disable pattern matching in log file name?

Just double the exclamation mark: !!S.
I have added this to documentation.

Possible to disable pattern matching in log file name?

Hello,

Would like to save a log file to a folder with a !S in it.
I'm using the command line to start WinSCP and specifying the log file through the command line. It's pattern matching the !S in the folder name and therefore not finding the right folder to store the file.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks.
