Problems with diacritical marks (ä,ö,ü...)

Hello,

with the new version 4.2.5 (on Windows XP SP3 32bit) i have problems when i connect with a SSH-Server on a Windows machine (freeSSHd running on Windows 2003).
Diacritical marks like ä, ö, ü ... in filenames or directories are like (e.g.): ö ...

This isn't if i connect to linux.

Maybe i have to check or uncheck something in the properties, but i tried already

UTF-8 encoding for filenames: Auto and Off.

It is the same thing when i connect with PuTTY, so it is not related to WinSCP.

What could it be?

Thank you, franc

EDIT:i didn't check the UTF-8 encoding for filenames: On
and with this all is OK.
This setting is in the Login-Dialog:

WinSCP Login / Environment / UTF-8 encoding for filenames: On
