WinSCP session fails at login, Putty works

Hi,

Since very recently I'm no longer able to login to a remote linux server using WinSCP. Connecting via Putty works without problems. Apparently authentication works, but a session cannot be started. The system waits 15 seconds and times out. That's it. No error message.

Background: I have recently installed Oracle 11g and I had to install a few other things to take care of dependencies. I have now uninstalled everything again, but this doesn't help.

Furthermore I have tried to use both SFTP and SCP. None of that works.

Please help, I'm at the end of my rope.

Thanks

Peter
