It will be possible to hide toolbar buttons in WinSCP 5.14.
I'm sending you an email with a development version of WinSCP to the address you have used to register on this forum.

I'd love the ability to remove buttons, too. For example, I never use "Open terminal","Open ... PuTTY", or "Switch Browsing" in the Command Buttons, but I use "Synchronize" all day long. I'd remove about half the buttons which would really simplify the interface for me.

Can icons in toolbars be added/removed?

I understand that I can view/hide toolbars, and that I can also drag them around to re-arrange them, but is it possible add or remove icons (shortcuts) from each tool bar individually? I was reading thru the docs and forums but could not find this feature if it does exist.

There are only a few shortcuts that I really use, but they are spread over several toolbars so I have to have all the toolbars open. A good example is the Standard Buttons toolbar... there are 18 buttons on it, but I only use 4 of them! It would save a lot of screen space if I could remove the ones I don't want.

Thanks
