Is there 64-bit shell extension or are we talking about 32-bit shell extension?
helohe

oh, ok. thank you :)
martin

Ok, I've forgot that on 64 bit system WinSCP cannot detect if extension is installed, so the option is available always.
helohe

Yes, I restarted but Drag&Drop support is still selectable in preferences.

WinSCP 429 / Win64: Drag&Drop shell extension remove

The installer of WinSCP 429 installed the Drag&Drop shell extension but I specifically have chosen in the custom install NOT to install the shell extension because of security considerations. I then Uninstalled WinSCP again using the uninstaller. But apparently the shell extension is still installed. (When I check with the portable version of WinSCP, drag and drop is still available). Is there a way to remove this shell extension? I don't like having any services etc running without my consent.

best regards
