Slant Quotation Marks Issue

Okay I figured it out. Basically the slanted quotation marks are extended ascii, which is enabled by hitting ctrl+shift. Just hit ctrl+shift again to disable extended ascii and the quotation marks should go back to normal.

Cury Quotes Same Problem

I am experiencing the exact same problem, and it is making my HTML code execute incorrectly. Has anyone figured out the solution?

Re: Curly quotes causing error messages

Can you send me an email, so I can send you back a debug version of WinSCP to track the problem? Please include link back to this topic in your email. Also note in this topic that you have sent the email. Thanks.

You will find my address (if you log in) in my forum profile.

Curly quotes causing error messages

Hi. This happened to me a few years ago and started again tonight. I didn't make any WinSCP changes. I'm having to copy/paste the straight quotation marks over the curly quotation marks to get the errors to go away. Why does this happen and how do you fix it?

Curly quotes starting to appear in place of others

I don't know the technical terms for these, but WinSCP used to display the quotation marks that appeared vertically. Now, they appear slanted and it's messing up my files. Errors appear on the pages because of this. I haven't updated or made any changes recently. Please help. :!:
