It looks like it happens only under Windows 7.
pagent 0.61
Putty SSH sessions works fine without passphrase requests.

works for me

I know it won't help you much but this combination works for me well.

I have PuTTY Agent 0.62 and WinSCP plugin for FAR Manager 1.62 and they work together without problems. I didn't have to set up anything in particularly, it just worked from the very beginning. Windows 7 x64, both programs are x86 though.

I only set host name and user name in session settings, no password, no private key file.

It could be two things:
- When pageant prompted for the pass key, you provided a wrong password and thus the private key wasn't opened. Double click pageant to see if you see your private key in the list.

- Your public key on the server is inaccessible for the server. Wrong location or file/directory permissions.

You could try connecting via SSH (PuTTY) to see if the key from pageant is used.

btw: You should create a separate thread for this problem. It's not related to this topic.

Far WinSCP plugin on Windows 7

One more problem:

I have PuTTY agent running with my key opened, but on Windows 7 WinSCP plugin doesn't act with my PuTTY Agent.
It claims session password instead, or Key passphraze if i write the Key File in session configuration.

On the other machine with XP installed it works fine.

Far 1.75
WinSCP 1.5.1 and 1.6.2

Re: bump ;-)

Ok. Thank you anyway. I appreciate your effort.
Replacing 64 bit FAR Manager with its 32 bit version has fortunately no side effects.

Re: bump ;-)

Atm, imposible. C++Builder does not support x64 yet.

Darn, I didn't realize that. Would it be difficult for you to compile the plugin as a x64 library?

Re: bump ;-)

Only now I have noticed that you have x64 version of FAR. AFAIK, there's no way to load x32 DLLs into x64 process.

This setup works for me on 32bit Win7. I'll test 64 bit.

bump ;-)

Hi, I'd like to bring this topic back to life.

Windows 7 SP1, 64bit
FAR Manager 2.0 build 1807 x64
winscpfar162setup.exe

WinSCP plugin isn't recognized by FAR Manager.
It doesn't show in Plugins Configuration (menu/Options), Plugin Commands (F11) or drive selection window.

It used to work with
Windows XP SP 3, 32bit
FAR Manager 2.0 build 1807 x86

I even tried migrating registry settings from the old FAR. I see WinSCP is included in the reg file - e.g.
[HKCU\software\far2\PluginsCache\C:/Program Files/Far2.0/Plugins/WinSCP/WinSCP.dll]
However, after I import it, FAR Manager removes this branch from registry. Other migrated settings is kept.

I use FAR with WinSCP plugin in my daily work. I can't really imagine what I would do without it. Pretty please, help.
