When I synchronize, it will suggest to copy Toto.ps (I accept this suggestion).

However, if I checked the synchronization again, it didnt copy Toto.ps
(I guess it copied toto.ps).

Please post a full log file showing the problem.

To generate log file, enable logging, log in to your server and do the operation and only the operation that causes the error. Submit the log with your post as an attachment. Note that passwords and passphrases not stored in the log. You may want to remove other data you consider sensitive though, such as host names, IP addresses, account names or file names (unless they are relevant to the problem). If you do not want to post the log publicly, you may email it to me. You will find my address (if you log in) in my forum profile. Please include link back to this topic in your email. Also note in this topic that you have emailed the log.

when I try to synchronize these two directories (in any mode : both, local, remote)

nothing happens, winscp is just ignoring the file Article.ps, while it should copy (or delete) it ! ;-)

Hm, I'll think about best solution.

Re: bug report for 2 files with the same name (up to the case)

I should add a related bug.

In my Linux directory, I have file toto.ps and Toto.ps
(not same size, not same dates)

In my windows, I have only the file toto.ps

When I synchronize, it will suggest to copy Toto.ps (I accept this suggestion).

However, if I checked the synchronization again, it didnt copy Toto.ps
(I guess it copied toto.ps).

Best regards

PS: In the faq/help, I found this :
https://winscp.net/eng/docs/ui_transfer_custom#filename_modification
but it doesnt seem to solve these 2 bugs.

bug report for 2 files with the same name (up to the case)

Under my Linux directory,
I have 2 files : article.ps and Article.ps (not the same)
(they have the same time of modification, but not the same size)

Under my windows directory,
I have just 1 file : article.ps

when I try to synchronize these two directories (in any mode : both, local, remote)

nothing happens, winscp is just ignoring the file Article.ps, while it should copy (or delete) it ! ;-)

Best regards
