Thanks, I still get the issue in the dev version.

Can you provide session log and some screenshots?

Thanks, I still get the issue in the dev version.

I have sent dev version for testing to both of you. Thanks.

I am also getting this issue using a 1 hour offset in v5.1

When using a 1 hour offset, the timestamps are actually only adjusted by 59 minutes. as described in this previously fixed bug (v4.33):

Is there a way to tell the 'keep remote directory up to date' feature to use the file size rather than timestamp?

Time Synch Error

Hello,

I just want to confirm the 4 hour time error with version 5.1. I installed version 5.1 and configured it the same as version 4.3.9. I checked some files transferred to my FTP server, and the transferred file timestamps were all 4 hours and 1 minute later than the source files. I then transferred the same files with version 4.3.9, and the timestamps were identical. If I used the timezone offset, I could correct the error, but I don't have to do that with version 4.3.9. I will continue using 4.3.9 for now.

Please use 4.3.9. Also I forgot to mention that I need logs at Debug 1 level.

I would like to install the older version on a different machine. How can I transfer my login settings so that I have the same settings on both machines?

Re: Time Synch Problems with WinSCP 5.1 and FTP

Thanks. I'll send you something soon.

Just a couple of questions:

Previous to installing 5.1 I ran a version earlier that 4.3.9 but I don't know what version. Is there a log file somewhere that tells me which version I upgraded from?

I would like to install the older version on a different machine. How can I transfer my login settings so that I have the same settings on both machines?

Re: Time Synch Problems with WinSCP 5.1 and FTP

I'm not aware of any difference.

Please attach a full log file showing just the login with initial directory listing using both 4.3.9 and 5.1.

To generate log file, enable logging, log in to your server and do the operation and only the operation that causes the error. Submit the log with your post as an attachment. Note that passwords and passphrases not stored in the log. You may want to remove other data you consider sensitive though, such as host names, IP addresses, account names or file names (unless they are relevant to the problem). If you do not want to post the log publicly, you may email it to me. You will find my address (if you log in) in my forum profile. Please include link back to this topic in your email. Also note in this topic that you have emailed the log.

Time Synch Problems with WinSCP 5.1 and FTP

I just updated to WinSCP from version 4.3.x to 5.1. I had no problems transferring files using FTP using TLS Explicit encryption to my web site when I used 4.3.x. Now for some reason WinSCP does not transfer files that have changed based on the time stamp. I noticed that the files on my web server are 4 hours ahead of my local time. What has changed in this version? When I look at the transfer settings dialog box the "Preserve timestamp" option is grayed out but it is checked.

When I synchronize files I have the mode set to "Synchronize files" and the "Comparison criteria" set to "Modification time".

Any suggestions on how to get this to work as it did with version 4.3.x?

Thanks,

Mike
