I too have noticed this in version 5.1 on Win7 SP1 64bit.

I generally get a popup for each directory in which a file was updated. The popping-up and disappearing window has a title of "Comparing..." and temporarily takes focus from the current active window.

I cannot confirm this. I just downgraded WinSCP to 4.3.9. When I click the "minimize" button in the "Keep remote directory up to date" dialog, WinSCP stays minimized in the systray, even when file changes and a transfer is triggered.

Re: "Keep remote directory up to date" Minimize Issue

I can see the same behavior in 4.3.9.
(Not that I'm defending it).

"Keep remote directory up to date" Minimize Issue

Hello,

I am using WinSCP 5.1.0 on Windows XP. When I use the "Keep remote directory up to date" function and click "minimize", WinSCP is minimized to the systray. Every time a file changes, a file-transfer window pops up for a short time. In earlier versions, there was no visible transfer window. Is there a way to hide it?

Thanks for any help in advance.
