Re: editor overwriting remotely updated version of the file

Yea well I have to admit I was wrong with the version number. I was on 4.x.x. Since upgrading I can't say I have seen it again and I tried replicating the "event" to no success.
If it happens again I will follow your instructions above.

Thx.

Re: editor overwriting remotely updated version of the file

Can you send me an email, so I can send you back a debug version of WinSCP to track the problem? Please include link back to this topic in your email. Also note in this topic that you have sent the email. Thanks.

You will find my address (if you log in) in my forum profile.

Editor overwriting remotely updated version of the file

In many occasions I might open a text file with WinSCP to check something and meanwhile the file gets updated. So when I close it (without saving it) WinSCP see's that it has been changed and goes ahead and uploads it overwriting the newer version.

Is there some way to avoid that? Thx.
