WinSCP cant "find" local file to transfer?

I have some long pathnames located on my local PC of files that need to be transferred to my Linux server.

These files exist. You can browse to them using Windows Explorer, and open them. But WinSCP pops-up an error saying it can't find the file. I'm not sure why. Are there certain characters in a pathname that WinSCP can't handle properly? I would assume if they're already on the local filesystem, they are valid paths.

Where is the logging for this, and I'll be happy to send details?

Thanks,
AJ
