Can you send me an email, so I can send you back a debug version of WinSCP to track the problem? Please include link back to this topic in your email. Also note in this topic that you have sent the email. Thanks.

Double click on remote panel opens properties and not file

When I double click on a file, it opens the file in edit mode on my local panel but when I double click on any file in remote panel, it opens the file properties instead of opening the file in edit mode. This is a problem because I need to copy all the files to my local folder if I need to edit the files.
I downloaded the latest version and it still has the same problem. I am on version 5.2.1. I also verified the preferences>Panels>Double click - Operation to perform on double click is edit. But this is on panel. When I click on remote underneath panels, I don't see this option.

I am uploading a screenshot of this issue.
