You can transfer file to where your server allows it. It up to you to do the proper configuration. WinSCP does not limit you in any way.

I can only transfer files to the admin's directory. I guess that's the limitiation?

permission denied during transfer

I'm running 3.6.1 (build 221), and after a successful connection, I can't transfer any files:

Permission denied.
Error code: 3
Error message from server: Permission denied (*)
Request code: 14

I'm logged in as 'admin' and I need to be logged in as 'root' in order to transfer... how can this be done? I've looked through the FAQ's and other posts, but couldn't find a direct match.

Thanks,
