Please start a new topic and provide us more details. At least a screenshot of WinSCP and Windows Explorer showing the drives (or a lack of them).

Martin,

We've noticed that WinSCP 5.9.3 and earlier will not show the local drives if WinSCP is launched
from a Windows 2012 R2 server. Are you aware of any specific security/registry setting that prevents
access to the local drives on the server, same access we get if we launch from a non-Server Windows OS.

Thanks for that, this is good news as we have quite a few winscp scheduled tasks that are running on a server to be upgraded

Re: Windows Server 2012 core

I've managed to test this myself on Windows 2012 core. WinSCP seems to run OK, both in GUI (!) and console mode. So there does not seem to be any significant restrictions for applications in the Windows core mode.

Documented here:

Will do though probably won't be for another month or so.

Windows Server 2012 core

Is it possible to use winscp on the core edition of server 2012? I realise that the GUI interface won't be available but want to use the command line commands if possible.
