Actually I should have been more specific. Its a smoothwall linux box and I access it's log files using sftp.

I have browsed through the sections but im too dumb to see the exact commands I should use.

I can see that I run the winscp /xyz.txt and it runs the commands in the text file like a batch file which is cool

I couldnt figure exactly which commands to combine as I couldnt see an example of what I was trying to do.

Thanks

Automate linux - windows file trasfer

Hi All

Im looking for an example fo how automate the copying of files from a linux system to a windows share.

I know I can use the WinScp Gui to transfer the files manually.

I would like to copy over e.g. log files from the linux server to the windows box automatically.

Im thinking batch file for winscp that is launched from the windows box via the task scheduler.

Anyone have any advice or command examples?

Thanks for reading
