Re: Backup and Restore Cisco Callmanager 8.6 using SFTP

Aren't you using Globalscape SFTP server? WinSCP is SFTP client!

Inside of Cisco Disaster Recovery, you have to setup a backup device, which is an SFTP server. You have to provide an IP, username and password. The backup device fails to be created using WinsCP. When using Globalscape, I put in the same information and it succeeds. Globalscape also runs as a service. I do have WinsCP up and running on my desktop when I try to connect to it, but have had no luck getting a successful backup device created. I was hoping someone who was using WinsCP to backup Cisco Callmanager could give me a few hints as to how they were successful.

Backup and Restore Cisco Callmanager 8.6 using SFTP

Does anyone have a procedure for backing up a Cisco Callmanager 8.6 using WinsCP? I have tried configuring the product, but have had not luck. I have been successful using Globalscape SFTP, but my HQ wants to give WinsCP a try. I would appreciate any help or advice.
Thanks,
Troy
