Re: FTP WinSCP using wild card

Hard to tell without a complete error message or even better a log file.

Though generally the error means that you do not have a permissions to overwrite the file.

FTP WinSCP using wild card

Hello,

I am trying to upload all the pdf files using *.pdf as the wildcard to upload it to a remote location (as shown below) and it states that it cannot write to the remote file instead throws an exception stated below:

"Cannot overwrite remote file '/Desoto ISD/Human Resources/Bulk Upload/Processing Premium HR/DSO_HR_Premium Scan_DSO12095-11'.

Press 'Delete' to delete the file and create new one instead of overwriting it."

Is this path issue of adding / or \ or adding / towards the end or some other issue?

Please suggest.

Thanks & Regards
