[SOLVED] Able to connect now.

Hi,

I noticed that I had older version of WinSCP which was why I was facing this problem. Now I'm good with connecting to SFTP.

Thanks for your reply

Re: Issues with WinSCP - Authenticating SFTP connection ppk

Please attach a full log file showing the problem (using the latest version of WinSCP).

To generate log file, use /log=path_to_log_file command-line argument. Submit the log with your post as an attachment. Note that passwords and passphrases not stored in the log. You may want to remove other data you consider sensitive though, such as host names, IP addresses, account names or file names (unless they are relevant to the problem). If you do not want to post the log publicly, you can mark the attachment as private.

Issues with WinSCP - Authenticating SFTP connection ppk

Hello,

I have a private key file to access an FTP host. I am trying to add private key file to Authentication I am getting following error:

'Key file' does not exists or it does not contain private key in known format.

When I tried the same from PuTTY i was able to connect to SSH Console without issues. Since I need an FTP client for file processing but not an SSH client.

Please advice how can I resolve this issue.
