Well, I downloaded a new version in December. So, whatever was the most current version was then. It may very well be the same version I am running now. Downloads are fine, uploads are very slow. It COULD be a network issue or computer setting issue but I just want try and verify it is not WinSCP. Thank you.

Re: Problems uploading large files SFTP- slow and disconnects

Thanks for your report.
What version were you using before?
Can you try to find out what version introduced the problem?

Problems uploading large files SFTP- slow and disconnects

Using most current winSCP 5.7. This problem has only been in the past few months, prior to that my uploads worked well. When I try to upload 8MB script files via SFTP, winSCP times out (Host not communuicating for more than 15 sec) and the tranfer speed goes lower and lower. Eventually, winSCP will lose connection with the far end server and disconnect. I have used this product for a few years now and this is a recent problem shared by my coworker. I have tried changing the transfer type between text, binary, auto and other settings with no luck..ideas???

Thanks,
Manny
