There may be many reasons --one of which can be the firewall. So, it is best to check if your fireall is topping you first.

Secondly, SSH must be available on the servers.

On the linux machine you do this

/etc/ini.d/ssh start
or
/etc/ini.d/ssh restart

if it starts ok, then fine; your problem is firewall etc. If not you vae to make sure that SSH is available --is it installed, etc.

On windows, SSH is a pain, I have not used it ever. So, I can not help you there at all.

network error : conection refused

Hi everyone. I'm trying to connect my Windows machine to my Linux machine but I can't. I get the error message:
network error : conection refused
