Cannot login when using passwords with utf8 characters

Passwords with utf8 characters that work without problems in ssh clients like PuTTY are rejected (access denied from server) when trying to login with WinSCP.

Sample password causing troubles in WinSCP:
F®ÈpńIź9h¤t¥ð²â/?D¡Ã´{mĘÑرâźðvAÈÒÆ8X¾Ä/¯ðSÖmÇć}»¥ñŹ¥ íãùK1í}¬Í Żćń)Ár;tżE¢äMŃJ

WinSCP version: 5.7.4
Protocols: SFTP, SCP.
GUI: commander style.
