Please attach a full log file showing the problem (using the latest version of WinSCP).

To generate log file, use /log=path_to_log_file command-line argument. Submit the log with your post as an attachment. Note that passwords and passphrases not stored in the log. You may want to remove other data you consider sensitive though, such as host names, IP addresses, account names or file names (unless they are relevant to the problem). If you do not want to post the log publicly, you can mark the attachment as private.

Intermittent Connection Refused

Yes, I'm troubleshooting a intermittent trouble! We have scripted WinSCP to automatically upload a file to an external SFTP server. This process works flawlessly for days, but then it will start to fail. It will fail until such time someone RDPs into the server running the job. Somehow simply logging into the server seems to correct the issue because 100% of the time the next job is a success. We don't have to open or do anything, just login and then log off.

I'm at a complete loss here.
