Re: We have client certificate (X509) certificate in c#. But how to attach it with WinSCP

When checked with our partner, they say they cant see the ssl certificate being presented by the client.

Please start a new thread and attach a full session log file showing the problem (using the latest version of WinSCP).

To generate the session log file, enable logging, log in to your server and do the operation and only the operation that causes the error. Submit the log with your post as an attachment. Note that passwords and passphrases not stored in the log. You may want to remove other data you consider sensitive though, such as host names, IP addresses, account names or file names (unless they are relevant to the problem). If you do not want to post the log publicly, you can mark the attachment as private.

See https://winscp.net/eng/docs/ui_login_tls
Though, it's not really clear what you ask for.
The above is for FTP(S). Is that what you mean?

The client certificates will be documented once we release version of WinSCP that supports them.

Hi Martin,

I have not found how to configure 'digital certificates' (X509, SHA1, SHA2...) authentication in the latest version of WinSCP? Is this feature already included? Is there any documentation?

Thanks
martin

Client Certificates FTP-SSL

I cannot figure out how to install a client certificate in WinSCP. I was searching and found a forum post from 2010 ( https://winscp.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8188 ) indicating this was not a feature at that time, but it looks like that individual was sent a developer version.

I was wondering if this feature has been added to any current or beta versions of the software in the past 2 years, and if it has, how do I use it? If not, is there an unreleased version I can test with?

Thanks
