Re: Newest verwion of WINSCP. Dragging pdf from unix remote folder to c:\drive can't open

Please attach a full log file showing the problem (using the latest version of WinSCP).

To generate log file, enable logging, log in to your server and do the operation and only the operation that causes the error. Submit the log with your post as an attachment. Note that passwords and passphrases not stored in the log. You may want to remove other data you consider sensitive though, such as host names, IP addresses, account names or file names (unless they are relevant to the problem). If you do not want to post the log publicly, you can mark the attachment as private.

An hour later...

I've transitioned over to Filezilla. Very easy to get up and running. Last time I used it was maybe 5 years ago at another clients.

And the main thing, is, Filezilla opens up pdfs beautifully.

I have a new sftp that works. Fantastic !

Newest verwion of WINSCP. Dragging pdf from unix remote folder to c:\drive can't open

After dragging over, pdf file is slightly bigger. Using auto default. When I open pdf on either side (remote or local) get only blank pages. I downloaded newest version of winscp - that was my mistake. Most all reports created on UNIX side are pdfs, so need to be able to version them.

I've spent Friday after and part of Saturday trying to get this to work like older 5.5 version. Can't continue debugging this. As of now 5.7 is crap for viewing pdfs.

I noticed someone said FileZilla works as an alternative. I'll have to use that until winscp is improved.
Thing is I've been using winscp for years - have never had a problem I couldn't get resolved - until now. Its affecting my productivity.
