Can I "unclick" this checkbox?

I clicked this checkbox when moving files by accident and now I am not asked before file is being rewritten. Can I somehow "unclick" or "forget" this "Do not show again" option?

Re: Further Testing

Good point.

Unfortunately there's no API to calculate the ideal combobox size in Windows. So I would have to calculate it manually, taking into account various Windows versions, styling, font sizes, etc. And test it on all these combinations. So again, I need to answer, let's see if more people ask for this.

Further Testing

Thank you for your consideration, prikryl.

One thing I did notice in further testing is that that actual, active clickable area for the "Do not show this dialog next time" checkbox will often extend the entire width of the bottom of dialog box, depending on neighboring cells/objects in that dialog box. In some instances, a simple miss-click of the OK or Cancel buttons will result in the hide option being triggered.

Even just in the interests of UI best practices, if that active clickable area was restricted only to the checkbox itself, or the checkbox and the displayed label text only, that would be much more welcome for us cautious types.

Best regards and thanks again.

Re: Master/safety option that will hide or disable "Do not show this dialog next time" boxes.

Thanks for your suggestion.
Will see if more people ask for this.

Master/safety option that will hide or disable "Do not show this dialog next time" boxes.

The one thing I really like about WinSCP is that I can get it to ask for confirmation on basically every...little...task that I perform with it. This gives me a lot of peace of mind when I'm having to manipulate files on a high-traffic, operational web server late at night, or when I'm already two sheets to the wind and need to make a quick alteration.

But way too often I find myself clicking parts of the dialog box seemingly nowhere near the "Do not show this dialog next time" checkbox and second-guessing or having it render those safeguards worthless for future sessions.

Pleeeeease, please please, put an option in Preferences that will provide a master/safety switch to hide or disable those "Do not show..." options.

Thank you for your time and efforts.

Best regards,
