How Do I Switch User in WinSCP

WinScp: version 3.6.8 (Build 245)
SSH protocol version: 2
File transfer protocol: SFTP(v3)

My SSH server(Debian Linux) prevents root login, so i can only login as normal user. So, the question is

How do login as normal user and then switch to root user to perform administrative tasks ?

Is there a way to do this ?
Am I missing something because I have been searching the forum and internet for this information ?

thanks
