Have you tried the latest release?
well, I've also checked with the connect script (<invalid hyperlink removed by admin>)
this ended with the same results, about 4 times faster than winscp (with simple scp and sftp).
any idea what would be diffrence?
thanks,
Ohad
Sorry, this is beyond my knowledge, I have no idea how to help you :-(
Hi,
I didnt, I use SSH port forwarding instead and bypass the proxy.
never the less, its not a network issue (or CPU).
could there be a limitation of tunnel opened in a http proxy?
thanks,
Ohad
How do you use cygwin to pass thru HTTP proxy?
hello
I'm trying to use http proxy to download files (scp and sftp)
when downloading though the proxy it seems that the connection is slowed down to around 100k (when free b/w is 400k).
when trying manually with cygwin i get the full 400k.
I'm forced to use the proxy as there is no direct network connection between the computers.
the proxy is squid, and no load (cpu or anyother thing) appers of any of the computers (winscp client, proxy server and src server)
if you have any idea i would appreciate it,
thanks,
Ohad
