The problem happens rarely. I cannot reproduce it.

When the laptop woke up from standby/sleep mode and on reconnecting to the office network the error message popped up.
One SCP session was running with a connection to a computer that is on the local network and thus not available during the time that the computer was disconnected.
So the crash must have happened somewhere between leaving the office and returning to the office.

The problem happens rarely. I cannot reproduce it.

I really don't know what caused, I was uploading a bunch of files to an AIX machine with winscp in my VDI. Disconnected from the VDI and went home. When I reconnected to the VDI from home this error was there.
Noticed that we had recieved an alarm about a low storage issue on the AIX during my travel and some of my colleagues had done some cleaning, but unsure if that can have affected my upload and caused this error.

I use remote desktop to work on the computer where WinSCP crashed. I found the WinSCP crashed after a reconnect to the PC. The PC has lots of free memory free (> 16GB)

The problem happens rarely. I cannot reproduce it.

I got this error after I left WinSCP window open for a long time (connected to remote server). No actions from my side and no task were executing. Just idle session. Sessions still alive.

I have sent you an email with a debug version of WinSCP to the address you have used to register on this forum.

WinSCP was already open, with a multiple tabs.
This time, I switched to it from another app, and expected the "Reconnect" dialog box - typical behaviour.
I do not recall if the error message came up right away after switching, or only after clicking the "Reconnect" in the session reconnection dialog box.

While this period i connect to pc via rdp and directly.
