Re: WinSCP requests password second time on first upload

This should happen, only if you use background transfers, as they happen on a new session.

If you use default foreground transfer, it should not happen.

If it does, please attach a full log file showing the problem (using the latest version of WinSCP).

To generate log file, enable logging, log in to your server and do the operation and only the operation that causes the error. Submit the log with your post as an attachment. Note that passwords and passphrases not stored in the log. You may want to remove other data you consider sensitive though, such as host names, IP addresses, account names or file names (unless they are relevant to the problem). If you do not want to post the log publicly, you can mark the attachment as private.

WinSCP requests password second time on first upload

WinSCP asks for a passowrd when initiate session to browse and asks it again when I actually upload something. I can't use "remember password for this session" option because server uses one-time password tokens and previous password is not valid by the time of upload. Can WinSCP somehow be instructed to complete whatever additional steps it need for uploads at the time I start session, so I don't need to input password twice?
