Yes, exactly. But only if preserving the timestamp on the server is not enabled, or is not supported by the server.
So I guess I should post this in the feature request forum.

Preserving timestamps on WebDAV transfers

Hi, new user here.
Is there any way of having WinSCP automatically update the timestamp of the local file if the "preserve timestamp" option fails to update the server timestamp?
(In FTP Voyager, an option that does this is called "Set local file to match remote when unable to set remote time".)
