Thanks for your donation.

The field is disabled, if you do not have WinSCP installed (e.g. if you are using a portable package). Automatic updates are supported only if you have used the installer to install WinSCP.

Automatic update - field email address is disabled (not working)

Hello Martin,

Thank you very much again for your great and useful software !

Using your software is part of my daily routines and so as a donator I would like to simplify the update task. I am afraid but the suggested approach to do this via email address is currently not possible in winscp, because the email field is disabled :-( - see attached a screenshot of the software misbehavior.

Any suggestions to make the field editable and working (current release Winscp 5.8.4)
