Re: Target FTP site is strange / unusable

What version were you using previously?

Please attach a full session log file showing the problem (using the latest version of WinSCP).

To generate the session log file, enable logging, log in to your server and do the operation and only the operation that causes the error. Submit the log with your post as an attachment. Note that passwords and passphrases not stored in the log. You may want to remove other data you consider sensitive though, such as host names, IP addresses, account names or file names (unless they are relevant to the problem). If you do not want to post the log publicly, you can mark the attachment as private.

home directory shows <root> but stays empty.

Yes, it was empty on several FTP servers I tried.

But I downloaded the SFTP file again and installed it again from the beginning, and the files of my website did show after that.
So, the problem is fixed.
Thank you,

Re: home directory shows <root> but stays empty.

And the problem is?

Should you see some files? Are there any files on the FTP server?
Can you see the files using any other FTP client?

home directory shows <root> but stays empty.

Hey, I recently installed WinSCP for my website (am using Windows 10).
I established the FTP connection but it shows only an (empty) folder called /<root>.
I have tried and failed to fin the cause of my problem.
I added a screenshot of the program. Can someone help me, please.
