Re: Could not retrieve directory listing

Try to set a longer timeout: open -timeout=...
https://winscp.net/eng/docs/scriptcommand_open

If this does not help, please attach a full session log file showing the problem (using the latest version of WinSCP).

To generate the session log file, use /log=path_to_log_file command-line argument. Submit the log with your post as an attachment. Note that passwords and passphrases not stored in the log. You may want to remove other data you consider sensitive though, such as host names, IP addresses, account names or file names (unless they are relevant to the problem). If you do not want to post the log publicly, you can mark the attachment as private.

Could not retrieve directory listing

Hi,

I am having a problem with the synchronize command. I am trying to use it to synchronise a large number of jpegs with Box cloud server.
Whenever I try to sync with a folder containing 10 or 20 files it works great but the folder is updated daily and now contains several thousand files.

I get the following error "Timeout detected. (Data connection). Could not retrieve directory listing" each time I try to sync to a folder with a large number of files.
If I delete most of the files then I am again able to sync to this same folder so it seems to be definitely linked to their number.

Any guidance which you can provide would be greatly appreciated,

Many thanks,

Noel
