Can you send me an email, so I can send you back a development version of WinSCP for testing? Please include link back to this topic in your email. Also note in this topic that you have sent the email. Thanks.

You will find my address (if you log in) in my forum profile.

I am trying to find how i can explain what i mean.

The fluent scroll, is not fluent enough when fast scrolling with the mousewheel.

So do you actually want to make the internal editor to scroll by lines, instead of the fluent scroll?
Because I read your first post to say the opposite.

It is LeftClick + Scroll that zooms, but that is a side matter.

My main point was that the text editor doesnt feel smooth and feels like its having difficulty scrolling trough large files.

For example, open a text file with a lot of lines in it.
And use the scrollwheel to scroll down fast.
Now do the same with windows notepad or notepad++ it is a lot smoother.
Sometimes the internal text editor is not done scrolling while i already stopped moving my mousewheel

Re: Double buffered internal Text Editor

It might be something specific about your devices.

For example, for me the Ctrl+Scroll does not zoom.

What system/devices do you have?

Double buffered internal Text Editor

I know that its possible to set any other external text editor.
But it would be nice if the internal text editor could be made a little more fluent in scrolling.
When scrolling trough large configuration files it sometimes feels a little clumsy.
Also the leftclick + scrollwheel operates the zoom factor. This makes it difficult to select and scroll at the same time.

I realize that there are much more important things to implement, but it would be nice if the internal text editor could get some refurbishing.
