WinSCP.dll in Visual Studio .NET 2003

I apologize in advance for not being a software person, so the following statements may appear dumb (and most likely are).

I am using Visual Studio .NET 2003 and I am getting errors right from the start when I try and "use" WinSCP in C# and "import" WinSCP in VB. Also issues when I try and add the .dll as a reference for either.

Can I use the WinSCP .NET within VS 2003 or am I just dong something wrong?

I can add the COM component as a reference when I do a C++ Win32 project, but since there are no examples, I'm a little hesitant to go this route.

Thanks in advance.
