I mean, is it possible to WinSCP override that title somehow?

I know I can set up it in PuTTy but I did not find any way to WinSCP load this configuration from PuTTy.

Thanks for the answer! I'm afraid it is not working as expected.

Indeep it keeps the name setted up in the title, but after loggin it gets the hostname of the server.

Sorry if I'm misunderstanding something.....

Yes it does work. It just works, nothing needs to be configured for it.

Hi

Our servers have cryptic hostnames and friendly aliases. It would be nice if the hostname entered in WinSCP (in our case the friendly alias) would become the window title in Putty. Currently it is the cryptic hostname (configured hostname of server I guess).
