Re: AWS Access -error code 3

@hanto: Again, please attach a full session log file showing the problem (using the latest version of WinSCP).

To generate the session log file, enable logging, log in to your server and do the operation and only the operation that causes the error. Submit the log with your post as an attachment. Note that passwords and passphrases not stored in the log. You may want to remove other data you consider sensitive though, such as host names, IP addresses, account names or file names (unless they are relevant to the problem). If you do not want to post the log publicly, you can mark the attachment as private.

Re: AWS Access -error code 3

I am having the same problem. That is the only error and it happens when I try to transfer a file from my Windows machine to an Ubuntu AWS server.

Re: AWS Access -error code 3

What does it mean "edit directory"? Can you post a complete error message or ideally a complete session log?

AWS access – Error code 3

I am using WinSCP to access my AWS instance. I followed all the steps https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSEC2/latest/UserGuide/putty.html#putty-private-key and I was able to connect successfully but when I am going to edit any directory it gives me this error
Permission denied.
Error code: 3
Error message from server: Permission denied

Any idea why is doing that? Thanks in advance! Al
