OK, but WinSCP is only file transfer client. How the uploaded files are reflected on your website is matter of your web server configuration.

Of course that you cannot find an aswer as this has nothing to do with WinSCP.

Anyway, I'm not sure what you want to do. Do you want to make certain page default page for a site without naming it index.html? Then, you must configure your webserver so. This is of course webserver-specific. If you are using Apache see DirectoryIndex directive.
