Re: losing connection repeatedly

Well obviously if I knew how to do it, based on your first post, I wouldn't be asking again. I am not sure why you would spend the time to reply as you just did, and not take the extra step to try and explain FURTHER or in more simpler steps for me to understand how to attach the logging for you. I can not recreate the issue, as it just continues to do it on its own, disconnecting every couple of minutes. I've attached a picture for you of the error message, I have set my ftp up to now track logging, and I will need more simpler detailed steps how to access the logging, and send it to you. Perhaps using words that someone who may not be a computer expert would understand, would help me. Thanks

It's described in details in my previous post. What part is not clear to you?

losing connection repeatedly

Please tell me how I attach any logs? I have set my ftp to now be logging, but I do not know how to view, or send those logs. This is becoming quite a nuisance that literally every couple of minutes the ftp disconnects and gives me an error message

Re: losing connection repeatedly

What protocol? Please attach a full session log file showing the problem (using the latest version of WinSCP).

To generate the session log file, enable logging, log in to your server and do the operation and only the operation that causes the error. Submit the log with your post as an attachment. Note that passwords and passphrases not stored in the log. You may want to remove other data you consider sensitive though, such as host names, IP addresses, account names or file names (unless they are relevant to the problem). If you do not want to post the log publicly, you can mark the attachment as private.

losing connection repeatedly

the ftp is connected and working and then randomly, and consistently throughout the day an error message pops up saying LOST CONNECTION and in the error message field it says "Disconnected from server
No-transfer-time exceeded. Closing control connection."

Why is this happening? How can I get it to stay connected, and not continue to discontect and attempt reconnction? Is there a number to contact, so much easier than forums.

Thanks in advance for any help
