Re: Is WinSCP right for me

WinSCP is a client application, not server.

Is WinSCP right for me

I am trying to determine if WinSCP will work in my situation. I currently use FreeSSHd (<invalid hyperlink removed by admin>) on my Windows 8 server that allows me to create multiple users who send SFTP/(SSH key) files from their Windows or Unix servers. FreeSSHd is no longer supported. This product runs on my server as a Service and automatically starts after my administrators reboot for maintenance for example. I can run the FreeSSHd exe to manange users etc. but the windows service is always on waiting for my users automatic scripts to run and pass me the files.

Is WinSCP a good replacement for my FreeSSHd??[/img]
