Re: Drag and Drop on Windows 10 occasionally freezes WinSCP

Thanks for your report.

Can you send me an email, so I can send you back a debug version of WinSCP to track the problem? Please include link back to this topic in your email. Also note in this topic that you have sent the email. Thanks.

Drag and Drop on Windows 10 occasionally freezes WinSCP

Using 5.13.3, Windows 10 Pro 1803, 64bit
Trying drag and drop on a remote SFTP site.
Drag from file pane to explorer (folder) pane.

Most of the time it works. Occasionally it freezes the client for about a minute (50s).
Freeze happens during the drag and drop, before drop takes place.
Windows OS stays responsive only the WinSCP window does not respond any operations.
The tried drag and drop is not being executed.
After such a failed try WinSCP recovers and works as expected, including drag and drop, without restarting the client.

I keep WinSCP up running for days, maybe it is some kind of resyncing to the remote server? Then a corresponding message would helpful, maybe with progress bar and when possible only freezing after drop target is clear and eventually executing the wanted operation.
