OK, I'm sorry, I do not know how to help you. I've never seen this problem before and I do not know what else to look for.

5.14.1 beta build 8909
but this problem has been ongoing for a long time.

What version of WinSCP are you using? Do you have the latest one?
clyfton

Nevermind. It is back to showing up underneath other windows.
clyfton

Wow! That worked! Thanks a bunch!

Please do. Use "Pin to taskbar" function.

How did you create that shortcut?
clyfton

I have a shortcut on taskbar that I use to start WinSCP.
I have Windows 10 with no extensions.
I don't see how screen shots can help.

Re: Make WinSCP the top most window on startup

WinSCP should behave as any other application in this respect.
How exactly do you start WinSCP? Can you post some screenshots documenting the problem? What version of Windows are you using? Do you have some extensions installed in your Windows desktop/shell?

Make WinSCP the top most window on startup

Is there an option somewhere to make WinSCP be the top-most window when it is started?
Every other program I run comes to the top when I start it. It is strange behaviour and annoying that I have to dig out WinSCP from under other windows every time I start it. I looked for an option but could not find.
