but what i couldnt understand, i was able to connect earlier with firewall on, but not after some days, & now only with firewall off..

First, try to disable any firewall on the way.

i m also not able to connect putty, giving same error. (as putty fatal error). I tried to get the log for putty also, but couldnt.
