Re: Recycle Bin

I didn't mean to be rude. I just did not understand your post in the context of this thread.

Re: Recycle Bin

There is no point being rude here.
I wouldn't have posted the question if I had understood it.
Let me make a point no to submit on this forum again.

What do you mean by this? Did you understand from the discussion above that there's no implicit recycle bin, unless you configured one? And if you did, you would probably know how to locate it.

Hi,
How to locate the remote recycle bin on WinSCP?

Re: Path recycle bin on Remote Linux server

WinSCP defaults to /tmp. But you would see that in the settings.

Re: Path recycle bin on Remote Linux server

Thank you Martin, but I asked because on this older version the path is not given. And if it's still the default used, there's nothing on this location. Where can the deleted files be then?

Thanks again, Benoit.

Path recycle bin on Remote Linux server

Dear,

I deleted some heavy backup files from a Linux server using WinSCP (5.7.5), the option to use the recycle bin was unfortunately on, so space was not freed on the server... but no idea where to look for this recycle bin and how to empty it.

Could someone help me in figuring out the path of the recycle bin?
Thanks in advance, Benoit.
