When I execute Windows ftp's ls it wait for about minute and then dumps 12000 lines with message at the end that output is truncated.

Re: Forcing ls output truncation

When I do ls in Windows FTP client i get 12k results in a minute but that is acceptable in this scenario because those 12k are the most recent.

And what happens after the minute? Do you interrupt the script or what?

Forcing ls output truncation

I have a slow FTP with 100k+ files and I need to get recent files.

When I do ls in Windows FTP client i get 12k results in a minute but that is acceptable in this scenario because those 12k are the most recent.

When I do ls in WinSCP lists all files but it takes over 8 minutes as do get with date mask

Is it possible to force WinSCP to truncate ls output?[/list]
