Re: Timeout detected(data connection) Could not retrieve directory listing

I am getting this when connecting to our internal FTP server. Other clients can connect fine. It is not a misconfigured server , nor a firewall issue. It is only WinSCP. This is occurring on every system WinSCP is installed on. Any ideas?? Attached is the logfile from a current session.

Please post a verbose log file of any working client for a comparison.

Re: Timeout detected(data connection) Could not retrieve directory listing

If no FTP client works, the FTP server (or its firewall) is probably misconfigured.
There nothing you can do on WinSCP side.
Read the link above to learn how to configure the FTP server/firewall properly.

I Already attached the session log file as a private file. Re-attaching the session log file as private file in case you didnot received the same.

Please attach a full session log file showing the problem (using the latest version of WinSCP).

To generate the session log file, enable logging, log in to your server and do the operation and only the operation that causes the error. Submit the log with your post as an attachment. Note that passwords and passphrases not stored in the log. You may want to remove other data you consider sensitive though, such as host names, IP addresses, account names or file names (unless they are relevant to the problem). If you do not want to post the log publicly, you can mark the attachment as private.
