Re: FTP Connecting to OS9 68k ancient operating system...

Thank you,
Two years ago also FileZilla didn't handle this rarity but now it does.

Re: FTP Connecting to OS9 68k ancient operating system...

Please attach a full session log file showing the problem (using the latest version of WinSCP).

To generate the session log file, enable logging, log in to your server and do the operation and only the operation that causes the error. Submit the log with your post as an attachment. Note that passwords and passphrases not stored in the log. You may want to remove other data you consider sensitive though, such as host names, IP addresses, account names or file names (unless they are relevant to the problem). If you do not want to post the log publicly, you can mark the attachment as private.

While WinSCP used some FTP code from FileZilla initially, it went its way. So we do not update FileZilla code. Though I'm quite sure, that the problem is, that the FTP server does not conform to FTP specification in one way or another. And FileZilla is possibly bit more tolerant.

FTP Connecting to OS9 68k ancient operating system...

Interesting is that Filezilla connects successfully.
But WinSCP 5.15.2 (and all before)
Says:
Invalid response to PWD command '"/dd" is current directory

When was latest refresh of FileZilla libraries used in WinSCP done?

Best regards, Branko
